WordPress Insert Media

In this chapter, we will learn how to Insert Media in WordPress. Media files can be inserted into your page or post from the library, local storage, or from a URL.

Following are the steps to insert media in WordPress:

Step (1) – Click Posts → Add New Post in WordPress.

Step (2) – Click Add Media .

Step (3) – You can select files in the Media Library tab as shown in the screenshot below.

On the right side of the screen, information about the selected multimedia file will appear under Attachment Details. Click the Insert into Post button and the image will be inserted into your post. In the Attachment Details section, you’ll find information about the image, such as its URL, title, description, alt text, and description.

You can also insert images directly from your system by clicking the Upload Files tab. Click the Insert into Article button.
