WordPress Installing Plugins

In this chapter, we will learn how to install plugins in WordPress. Installing plugins is very simple. All plugins can be downloaded for free. The only condition is that the plugin must be in the WordPress directory.

Following are the simple steps to install a plugin in WordPress.

Step (1) – Click Plugins → Add New in WordPress.

Step (2) − Type the desired plugin name in the Search box as shown in the image below. A list of related plugins will be displayed as shown in the image below.

Select the desired plugin you want to use. Here, we searched for the All in one SEO Pack plugin, which is the first plugin displayed on the previous screen. Click the Install Now button to install the plugin to your website.

Step (3) – The plugin will automatically start downloading and installing.

Click Activate Plugin to activate the plugin on your website. Using this plugin will make your task much easier.

Step (4) − After activation, you will see the installed plugin in the plugin list as shown below.
